Nathaniel Lasry
Founder of iMD Research
Nathaniel Lasry was initially trained in high-energy physics before completing a PhD in cognitive science at McGill. Dr Lasry then spent two years as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Harvard School of Engineering & Applied Science. Dr Lasry is the author of a book and over 50 peer-reviewed publications in high impact journals such as Nature Physics and Science. He has appeared on TV series for Discovery Channel and CanalD and received awards from a number of entities such as the Canadian Association of Physicists.
Dr Lasry is the founder of iMD Research and has spearheaded the development of a collection of AI-driven intelligent medical devices. These range from intelligent intraoral devices that treat sleep apnea and monitor vital signs, to medical imaging systems that detect the validity breast positioning in mammographic images or a generative adversarial networks (GAN) to generate volumetric surfaces that automate the production of dental restorations.
